Stephen Tang

Stephen is a first-year student in the MD-PhD dual degree program at Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons (VP&S). He graduated from Yale University in 2018 with a bachelor’s degree in molecular biophysics and biochemistry and spent two years before medical school working as a research associate at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Stephen plays the violin and is on the leadership of the Musicians’ Guild at Columbia VP&S, where he manages the medical center orchestra and coordinates weekly mini-concerts for patients at New York Presbyterian Hospital.
