Hueyjong Shih

Huey is a 2nd year medical student at the Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons. He is originally from North Potomac, Maryland and has been playing violin since he was 5 years old. At Columbia, he is an active member of the Musicians Guild and helps run its Music at the Bedside and Artreach programs. These programs connect student musicians and artists with different departments in the hospital to provide weekly uplifting performances. He is excited to work with VBC to continue to bring the joy of music to patients and healthcare workers!
