Claire Yoo

Claire Yoo is a 18-year-old violinist originally from Idaho Falls, Idaho currently attending Harvard University and planning on majoring in Integrative Biology on the premedical track. She is accomplished, having toured Europe with the National Youth Orchestra of the USA, performed at Carnegie Hall, and admitted to several other high-level orchestral groups such as the All-National Honor Ensemble and the All-Northwest Honor Ensemble as well as Harvard Radcliffe Orchestra. She takes much interest in music’s therapeutic properties, being the founder of PlayToRemember, a music therapy partnership program with the Pocatello Vet Center that serves veterans suffering from PTSD. Additionally, she is part of a team by the name of NYO4Youth that raises money for Save The Music through virtual benefit concerts. She is incredibly excited to help the VBC team.
